COMMUNITY COLLEGE SOCCER : Konecny Leads Golden West to Upset Victory

Radim Konecny scored two second-half goals to help Golden West upset first-place Irvine Valley in a Orange Empire Conference men’s soccer game Tuesday at Golden West.

Hans Gratzer had 13 saves for Golden West (9-10, 5-7).

Irvine Valley (15-3-3, 8-2-1), which clinched the conference title last week, took a 1-0 lead in the first half.

Orange Coast 3, Rancho Santiago 0--Eric Dandolo, Rafael Mosqueda and Martin Holmqvist scored for the Pirates.

Irvine Valley 1, San Diego Mesa 0--With about 20 minutes remaining, Erica Dunne scored for the Lasers (5-6-3, 4-5-2).
