Cross-Country: Handicapping State Meet ’94

Share

If the results of the state high school cross-country championships in Fresno last Saturday were any indication, area runners will be contenders next season.

Led by Thousand Oaks High’s Jeff Fischer, who timed 15 minutes 26 seconds over the 5,000-meter course to place third in the Division I race, local athletes produced six of the top eight boys’ times by non-seniors.

Runners from the Marmonte League were particularly impressive, producing the top three times and four of the top eight.
