BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Gottlieb, Lalazarian Lead Tustin to Sea View League Victory

Guard Doug Gottlieb scored 19 points and Tustin held on for a 52-51 Sea View League victory over Irvine Friday night at Tustin.

David Lalazarian scored 16 points for the Tillers (10-5, 2-0). Greg Foster scored 18 points for Irvine (5-9, 0-2).

In other Sea View League games:

Corona del Mar 59, Woodbridge 56--Ramin Bastani scored 16 points, and Craig Savage added 14 as Corona del Mar (9-5, 1-1) won the fourth quarter, 15-12, and the game. Todd Semm scored 14 points for Woodbridge (6-7, 0-2).

Saddleback 70, Newport Harbor 67--Saddleback shot 85% from the free-throw line as the Roadrunners (6-7, 1-1) held off Newport Harbor, which scored 30 points in the fourth quarter.

Santa Margarita 62, University 50--Brad Finneran scored 19 points for 10th-ranked Santa Margarita as the Eagles (10-4, 2-0) outscored University, 29-16, in the fourth quarter. Demetrius Zeigler had 28 points for University (8-5, 1-1).

Southern California Christian 69, Life Christian Riverside 50--Guard Josh Cameron had 26 points and Bret Lautt added 19 for Southern California Christian (3-8, 2-0).
