In other Orange Empire Conference men’s games:

Riverside 82, Rancho Santiago 76--Darryle Flicking scored 26 points for host Riverside (19-5, 5-1). Rancho Santiago (15-8, 3-3) has lost three of its last four conference games after starting 2-0. Matt Kordik had 23 for the Dons, who led, 46-43, at the half.

Fullerton 86, Cypress 59--Visiting Fullerton (19-6, 4-2) won its fourth consecutive game. Tyrone Merriweather had 16 and Orlando Haygood scored 14 for the Hornets. Sam Love had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Fullerton.

Irvine Valley 101, Golden West 77--Damon Sims had 21 points and Tom Airey had 19, including five three-pointers, for Irvine Valley (16-8, 4-2) at Capistrano Valley High School. Gerald Rhoden had a game-high 29 for Golden West (8-14, 1-5).

In Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball:

Fullerton 60, Cypress 54 (OT)--Host Fullerton (16-10, 4-1) outscored Cypress, 8-2, in overtime. Six Hornet players scored eight or more points in the battle for second place in the conference. Nikki Kubota had 10 and Lisa Ruppe, Nikki Clark, Jocelyn Mackzum, and Valory Widdison each had nine for the Hornets. Fullerton plays at Golden West (5-0 in conference) at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Sara Works scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds before fouling out for Cypress (18-6, 3-2).

Orange Coast 76, Saddleback 66--America Robledo scored 18 points and Petra Murdoch added 16 for visiting Orange Coast (15-9, 3-2). The Pirates played without leading scorer LeAnn Kazmer, who sat out because of a sore knee. Bonnie Trejo had 25 points for Saddleback (6-12, 1-5).

Riverside 83, Rancho Santiago 52--Audrey McMurray scored 19 points and had 15 rebounds for Riverside (19-8, 2-3). Yamilda Olmedo led host Rancho Santiago with 14 points.
