SUNSET LEAGUE GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Fountain Valley 61, Westminster 47--Seventh-ranked Fountain Valley (14-5, 6-2) trailed, 30-26, at halftime, but outscored Westminster, 23-7, in the third quarter. Erin Avila scored 19 for the Barons, and Lisa Tamamasui had a game-high 27 for Westminster (7-12, 2-6).

Edison 62, Huntington Beach 45--Marie Philman had 29 points and 26 rebounds for Edison (13-6, 4-4), which has won three consecutive in league after a 1-4 start. Renee Kimoto and Monica Geraci each scored 11 points for Huntington Beach (7-10, 3-5).

Santa Ana 61, Rosary 49--Karina Gonzalez made four of Santa Ana’s team-record eight three-pointers and finished with 17 points to lead the Saints (9-11, 1-7). Kathleen Celio scored 17 points for Rosary (9-6, 3-5).
