WEEK AT A GLANCE: In 10 innings last week, Parque had 24 strikeouts and gave up seven hits and two earned runs. In a 10-2 victory at Hoover, he pitched a six-hitter and struck out 14. On Saturday, Parque pitched only three innings because of the state rule that limits pitchers to 10 innings a week. Parque struck out 10, four in the third inning after a Montclair Prep batter reached base on a passed ball. That resulted in an unearned run and saddled him with the loss in a 4-3 defeat. “He continues to impress everybody,” Falcon Coach Tony Zarrillo said. “He just has a great blend of pitches.”
