Golden West 7, Irvine Valley 0--Irvine Valley forfeited an Orange Empire Conference game because it did not have enough players to field a team.

The victory was the first in conference play for Golden West (6-17, 1-7). Irvine Valley is 1-23, 0-10.

Saddleback 3, Riverside 2--Saddleback’s (17-12, 5-5) three-run third-inning runs were enough for Laura Kesterson, as she allowed seven hits in a complete game win.

Shannon Allen and Misty Marquis each had three hits for Riverside (12-15, 6-5).

Orange Coast 3, Pasadena City 0--Mike Melcher had 20 kills and teammate Tom Green added 14 to help defeat Pasadena, 15-13, 15-11, 15-13. Orange Coast improves to 10-2, 9-2.
