In Academy League baseball:

St. Margaret’s 6, California Lutheran 1--Bobby Masters struck out seven and gave up one unearned run in the complete-game victory for host St. Margaret’s (13-1, 6-0).

Liberty Christian 13, South Gate Southeast Lutheran 1 (6, mercy)--Greg Rule struck out 13, walked one and gave up one unearned run in a complete game for Liberty Christian (9-5, 3-1). Bryan Davis doubled, tripled, scored four runs and had one RBI for Liberty Christian.

In Century League softball:

Villa Park 1, Canyon 0--Jamie Hunter tripled and scored the winning run on a throwing error in the fifth inning for host Villa Park (14-8, 5-1). Tammy Kincaid (6-5) struck out eight and gave up two hits for her fifth shutout of the season.

In South Coast League tennis:

Dana Hills 16, Mater Dei 5--The second-ranked Dolphins clinched the league title with the victory. Freshman Brandon Fallon swept his sets at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, for Dana Hills (17-0, 8-0).

In Garden Grove League golf:

Los Amigos 193, Garden Grove 208--Matt Stafford and John Cone shot a 35 at Willowick for Los Amigos (19-3, 7-0), which clinched its first league championship in 15 years.
