COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Fresno State Topples Titans
Cal State Fullerton, the second-ranked baseball team in the nation, was beaten by unranked Fresno State, 12-6, in a nonconference game Tuesday at Fullerton.
Mark Kotsay and Jeff Ferguson each had a hit and drove in two runs for Cal State Fullerton (38-11).
In Big West Conference softball:
Cal State Fullerton 1-1, Long Beach State 0-0--Jennifer Mortensen and Trinity Johnson pitched shutouts for visiting Fullerton (30-27, 19-11).
