Mel Baty has been hired as water polo coach at La Quinta. He replaces Mark Chollette, who resigned to coach water polo and swimming at Magnolia. Baty also has coached lower-level baseball at Villa Park.

Jon Lundberg has resigned after one season as Woodbridge wrestling coach to take a full-time teaching job at Anaheim High School. According to Woodbridge Athletic Director Dave Cowen, Lundberg took the job at Anaheim because Woodbridge could not offer him a full-time teaching position. Cowen said Lundberg will be helping out with lower-level wrestling at Anaheim.
