Quartz Hill 35, Apple Valley 21--Jeremiah Harris rushed for 125 yards in 23 carries and scored on a six-yard run to lead Quartz Hill at Apple Valley.

Quartz Hill’s Andy Rethi caught three passes for 120 yards, including an 85-yard scoring strike from reserve quarterback Brian Woodworth just before halftime to get the Rebels (3-1-1) even, 14-14.

Quartz Hill took the lead for good on its first possession of the third period, matching 71 yards in six plays to score on Harris’ run to take a 20-14 lead.

Damien Kindred Quartz Hill’s starting quarterback, completed four of 10 passes for 69 yards, including a 20-yard scoring pass to Rethi. Kindred also scored on a seven-yard run in the fourth period.
