Loyola 37, Alemany 0--Junior running back Mike Vanis ran for three touchdowns to lead the Cubs (6-1, 1-1) at Alemany.
Vanis had 13 carries for 126 yards scored from one and two yards in the first quarter as Loyola scored on its first three possessions to take a 16-0 lead. Vanis scored from 40 yards early in the fourth quarter.
The Cubs forced three interceptions and held Alemany (1-4-2, 0-2) to 114 total yards.
