Half Enough for Harvard-Westlake
Abed Abusaleh rushed for 164 yards and Hersh Davis-Nitzberg forced two key turnovers to lead visiting Harvard-Westlake to a 15-10 victory over St. Anthony Friday night in a Camino Real League game at St. Anthony.
Harvard-Westlake (6-1-1, 3-0 in league) marched 59 yards in 10 plays following a Davis-Nitzberg interception in the second quarter to score what held up as the game-winning points. The touchdown came on a 30-yard pass from Derek Lemkin to Kadar Lewis with 10 seconds to go before the intermission.
A two-point conversion pass from Lemkin to Merlin DeMartinis accounted for the final margin.
Harvard-Westlake ground out 277 yards while St. Anthony (6-2, 1-2) gained 137 yards in total offense.
