In the third-place game:
Sonora 59, Santa Ana Valley 54--Craig Clarke had 20 and Chad Fister added 14 for Sonora. Ike Harmon had 21 points for Santa Ana Valley.
In a fifth-place game:
Capistrano Valley 65, Long Beach Poly 64 (2 OT)--John Earnest made a three-pointer with two seconds left in the second overtime to lead Capistrano Valley. Randy Shepard was the leading scorer for the Cougars (4-2) with 19 points.
In the Calvin Christian tournament:
Arrowhead Christian 60, Heritage Christian 51--Junior Jay Williams scored 26 points and Jim Findlater added 15 points and five rebounds for Heritage Christian (2-1) in the championship game.
In the third-place game of Costa Mesa tournament:
Century 56, Costa Mesa 39--Gabriel Aguirre scored 13 points for Century (4-1).
In a fifth-place game of the Costa Mesa tournament:
Calvary Chapel 70, Buena Park 52--Kevin Falconer scored 17 points to lead Calvary Chapel (7-1).
In the consolation rounds:
Bolsa Grande 57, Santiago 44--Crispin Chavez scored 20 points and had nine rebounds for Bolsa Grande (4-3).
Saddleback 58, Chino Hills Boys Republic 40--Bobby Dreyer and Jon Gallegos each scored 12 points for Saddleback (2-5).
University 63, Anaheim 59--Steve McKee had 21 points and 10 rebounds, freshman Fred Sears added 21 points and freshman Eric Palmer had five points and 10 assists for University (2-3). Rocky Whipple scored 19 points for Anaheim (1-3).
In the Cougar Classic:
Claremont 59, San Bernardino Community Christian Academy 53--Ryan Cronkite scored 15 points and Steve Kimble added 14 for Claremont (5-0) in the championship game. Mike Salazar scored 14 for Community Christian Academy (4-1).
In the Faith Baptist tournament:
Brethren Christian 54, Montclair Prep 51--Mike Legaspi scored 17 points to lead Brethren Christian (4-1) to third place.
In the Glendora tournament:
Brea-Olinda 80, Norwalk 70--John Norum and Matt Bodiford led Brea-Olinda (5-3) with 19 points each and John Heredia added 13 points and 10 assists in the third-place game.
In consolation games:
Agoura 56, Esperanza 54--Josh Greer scored 29 points for Esperanza (4-4).
In the Laguna Hills tournament:
Laguna Hills 52, Mission Viejo 46--Tournament most valuable player Mike Scaglione scored a game-high 23 points in Laguna Hills’ (5-0) championship victory. All-tournament selection Ty Kalkloch led Mission Viejo (6-2) with 18 points.
In consolation games of the Laguna Hills tournament:
El Toro 52, Arroyo Grande 39--Michael Cummins scored 12 points and Travis Senik added 10 for El Toro (3-4).
In the La Jolla tournament:
Capistrano Valley Christian 67, Imperial 32--Tamer Ghosheh led all scorers with 21 points and Andrew Jennings chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds for visiting Capistrano Valley Christian (4-4).
In the Pasadena Poly tournament:
St. Margaret’s 69, Sierra Madre La Salle 59--Damian Raibon had 31 points and 13 rebounds and Rob Miltner had 16 points for St. Margaret’s (5-1), which took third place in the tournament.
In a fifth-place game of the Valley Christian tournament:
Loara 56, West Covina Western Christian 51--Obaid Popal scored 16 points and Tony Moss scored 10 to lead Loara (4-3).
In nonleague games:
Whittier Christian 81, La Mirada 60--Kevin Berry scored 22 points and Ed Zieman added 17 for Whittier Christian (4-2).
Woodbridge 55, Orange 52 (OT)--Chris Burgess had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Todd Semm added 15 points to lead Woodbridge (4-1). Andy Lauredsen scored a game-high 20 points for Orange (5-1).
