Ocean View’s Johnson Wins Junior Golf Event

Robert Johnson of Ocean View shot a one-under-par 72 Thursday to win the junior class competition of the Junior Golf Winter Classic at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach.
Other Orange County golfers placing in the junior class were Huntington Beach’s Perry Dickey III, who finished third (72); Ryan Olson of Dana Hills in fourth (73); Ryan Donovan of Esperanza in fifth (74) and Mike Bulsombut of Ocean View in eighth (75).
In the senior class division, Alex Yi of La Quinta and James Wooley of Valencia finished in a tie for third (72).
Kelly Craig of Santa Margarita High shot a 75 to take fourth in the sophomore competition.
