In other Marina tournament games:

Fountain Valley 71, El Dorado 63 (OT)--Sixth-ranked Fountain Valley (9-4) made only 34% of its shots in regulation, but made six of seven in overtime.

Seventh-ranked El Dorado (7-2) led, 49-42, with 4:02 left, but made only one more field goal--Shannon Nebeker’s basket with three seconds left--to force overtime. The Golden Hawks committed four turnovers in the last 2:20, and committed three more in overtime.

Shanna Renken had a game-high 33 points and 18 rebounds for El Dorado. Fountain Valley got 20 points from Jennifer Ludwicki and 12 apiece from Jocelyn Tu and Saki Takemoto.

Marina 52, Ocean View 34--Fifth-ranked Marina (10-1) got 17 points from Sonya Bryant and 10 from Shandy Robbins to beat Ocean View (6-6). Becky Fraser had 14 points for the Seahawks.

In consolation games:

Coney (Me.) 72, Loara 31--Paola Flores scored 12 for Loara (3-7). Becky Joosten added nine and 11 rebounds.

Lakewood 46, Mission Viejo 45 (OT)--Erika Burton’s basket at the buzzer was first disallowed by officials--and then allowed after a discussion--to pin an overtime loss on Mission Viejo (6-5). Shelly Higham had a team-high 20 points for Mission Viejo, and Kortney Okura had 11.

San Diego Morse 70, La Quinta 30--La Quinta (0-10) fell behind, 19-6, and never recovered. Tina Shum scored 12 points.

In pool play of the Cavalier Classic:

Fullerton 46, El Modena 31--Jennie Wallace scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Nadia Hoerner had 13 points and 14 rebounds for Fullerton (6-5), which plays Edison tonight at 8.

In the Costa Mesa Tournament

Capistrano Valley 47, San Luis Obispo 36--Jennifer Garrett had 21 points and 21 rebounds to lead Capistrano Valley (8-3), which plays Montebello Schurr for fifth place today at 4:30.

Kirkland (Wash.) Lake Washington 57, Costa Mesa 55--Costa Mesa (7-4) led by six points with less than two minutes remaining but couldn’t stop Sarah Yarbrough (21 points). Corri Lurmann led Costa Mesa with 16 points.

San Clemente 45, Westminster 39--Kelly Grant scored 17 points for San Clemente (8-6), which plays Long Beach Jordan today at 3 in the consolation championship.

Tustin 79, North Torrance 38--Katie Scheuerman led Tustin (7-7) with 20 points and made two three-pointers to give her 100 in her career. Alison Carr added 16 for the Tillers.

Woodbridge 70, Huntington Beach 50--No. 1 Woodbridge (12-0) was led by Erin Stovall’s 18 points, and Angela Burgess’ 19-point, 13-rebound effort. The Warriors play Kirkland Lake Washington in the finals tonight at 7:30.

In the Garden Grove tournament:

Magnolia 62, Rancho Alamitos 35--Andrea Picchi scored 24 points and had 19 rebounds for Magnolia (8-3). Sophia Garcia had a career-high 17 points for the Sentinels.

In the Laguna Beach tournament:

Century 51, Calvary Chapel 38--Ashleigh Griset scored 15 to lead Century (7-3) into the finals tonight at 7:30 against Trabuco Hills.

Trabuco Hills 44, Laguna Hills 41 (OT)--LaShieka Henderson scored seven of the Mustangs’ nine points in overtime. Henderson had 15 points and Dyanna Hatch 13 to lead Trabuco Hills (11-3). Laguna Hills (9-3) played without 6-5 center Tayyiba Haneef, but got 13 points from Tamara Inoue.

Laguna Beach 41, Brethren Christian 40--April Chambers scored 20 points for Laguna Beach (2-8), which plays Orange Lutheran today in the consolation championship at 4:30.

Orange Lutheran 57, Irvine 55--Liz Pappas and Michelle Morales each scored 14 points to lead Orange Lutheran.

In the Santiago tournament:

Corona del Mar 66, Sonora 57--Jennifer Gardner scored 23 points to lead Corona del Mar (5-7) in pool play. Aiyana Nash had 36 points for Sonora (3-8).

In second round of the Savanna tournament:

La Habra 55, Brock (Canada) 39--Brook Koehler scored 12 points and Amy Lien added 11 to lead La Habra (6-5).

La Mirada 27, Los Amigos 17--Camela Zavala scored seven points for Los Amigos (4-4).

Santa Ana 73, Los Alamitos 45--Letty Gil scored 22 points and handed out 12 assists to pace Santa Ana (7-4). Tanzenika Holmes added 20 points for the Saints.
