A family lost its home to fire early Monday, officials said.

No one was hurt in the blaze, which began about 12:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Haster Street.

Three adults and four children evacuated the single-family home, said Division Chief Rudy Weyland of the Anaheim Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, Weyland said.

The fire was spotted by neighbors. Eighteen firefighters, including some from Orange and Garden Grove, brought it under control in about 25 minutes.

About half of the home was destroyed, and the family had to be relocated, Weyland said.
