Cypress Wins Softball Tournament
CYPRESS —
Jenn Allchin and Christa Salndon each had three hits as host Cypress beat Hancock, 12-2, Sunday in the championship game of the Charger softball tournament.
Allchin, Salndon and Briana Yoshina each drove in two runs for Cypress (9-2), which scored four runs in the first inning and five in the second. Yoshina, who also stole two bases, and Jenn Gonzales had two hits each for Cypress.
Jenny Lopez allowed two hits and no runs in the first four innings for the victory.
