Corona del Mar 47, Playa del Rey St. Bernard 46--Brian Coleman made two free throws with 36 seconds left as Corona del Mar (18-11) hung on in the Southern Section IV-AA final at the UC Irvine Bren Center.

St. Bernard (17-12) missed a chance to go ahead with four seconds remaining when Harris Darren missed a three-footer.

The Sea Kings were leading 45-41 when Darren made a basket and free throw, cutting it to 45-44 with 1:32 left. Following a turnover, St. Bernard guard Michael Johnson converted a driving layup, giving his team a 46-45 lead with 56 seconds remaining.

Brian Fracalosy led Corona del Mar with 15 points. Granville scored 12 points to lead St. Bernard.
