Outlook: The Cougars have managed to survive unscathed in each of the past two South Coast League finals and will be seeking a third consecutive title this season. The senior-led team will rely on distance ace Sanchez, the Southern Section Division I runner-up in cross-country last fall and Times Orange County runner of the year. Lindeman, Cisneros and Yamashita will provide backup in all three distance races. Fulbright and Lynn make up one of the area’s most talented throwing duos--Lynn in the shotput and Fulbright in the discus. Makenzie, Miller and Purvis will be the Cougars’ sprinters.
