The Crescenta Valley High softball team rolled to 38-0 victory over Muir in a Pacific League game Thursday at Montrose Park that was called after three innings because of the mercy rule.
The Falcons, ranked second in The Times’ regional poll, scored 11 runs in the first inning, three in the second and 24 in the third.
The Falcons (19-2, 6-0) collected 18 hits and were aided by eight errors by Muir (0-6, 0-12).
Leslie Linnemeyer had four hits, including a three-run triple. Elizabeth Barnes had three hits, including a three-run homer.
