Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Man Dies of Gunshot Wounds
A man who was shot twice in the head during an argument died of his wounds Tuesday, authorities said.
Donald Ray Wells, 22, of Lancaster, was shot Sunday at 8 p.m. at the corner of 5th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard, said Deputy Diane Hecht of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
Wells and another unidentified man were seen arguing on the street when the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot him, said Hecht.
Wells was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center in Lancaster where he died at 4:36 p.m., Hecht said.
Investigators have no suspects and are still investigating, Hecht said.
