OUTLOOK

The Pioneers are loaded with talent and should contend for the league title. One of Howell’s iggest problems might be playing time for his numerous, gifted running backs and receivers. Chambers is the league’s top returning quarterback. The Pioneers’ junior varsity team was 20-0 over the last two seasons and Howell has reaped the rewards of that success. Bell, who also plays linebacker and wingback, is among the county’s most versatile athletes. Kicking, though, is what he does best, and many Division I schools seek his services for next season. The physical Branstetter possesses tools Division I coaches require in their tight ends. He caught 27 passes for 323 yards as a junior.
