Outlook: Expect Dana Hills to struggle in the early going. Johnson will miss the first few weeks as she recovers from shoulder surgery and Spica will miss some nonleague matches. But Stephens said his team probably has more talent and may have more depth than last season’s. “Eventually, I think we’ll be real solid,” Stephens said. “We should be as good as last year and we have the opportunity to be a lot better.” He is high on freshman Cole-Tranking.
