Van Nuys : ESPN Sportscasters to Discuss Their Careers
Three ESPN sportscasters will discuss their careers Sept. 19 at a Van Nuys forum sponsored by the Southern California Chapter of Women in Cable & Telecommunications.
Robin Roberts, SportsCenter anchor and host of ABC’s Wide World of Sports; Andrea Kremer, a correspondent for SportsCenter and NFL GameDay, and Suzy Kolber, anchor and reporter for ESPN and ESPN2, are set to participate.
The question-and-answer program is aimed at students and adults who wish to learn about the broadcast industry and career advancement in general, said Nikki Pesusich, spokeswoman for the event.
The forum will begin at 10 a.m. at United Artists Cable, 15055 Oxnard St., Van Nuys.
Women in Cable & Telecommunications has chapters across the country. Although the group focuses on the advancement of women, both men and women are invited.
Tickets are $25 for members, $35 for non-members. For information, call Susan Lewis of ESPN at (310) 358-5314.
