Antelope Valley 52, Ridgecrest Burroughs 10--Antelope Valley (5-1, 1-0) recovered from a slow start, scored 15 second-quarter points and went to win at home.
The Antelopes (5-1, 1-0) were led by Jermaine Lewis, who ran for 210 yards and three touchdowns in 12 carries, including runs of 93, 47 and 20 yards.
Fullback Justin Reiner added 66 yards in five carries. The Antelopes, ranked No. 1 in the region by The Times, rushed for 456 yards.
