Servite 21, Corona del Mar 16--Greg Cicero completed seven of 13 passes for 212 yards, including a 73-yard touchdown pass to Vince Reed with 5:55 to play for Servite.

The Friars’ defense was a key, stopping Corona del Mar twice at the one-yard line in the second quarter. Servite’s David Graham recovered a fumbled snap at the two-yard line with 1:53 left to seal the victory.

Corona del Mar (10-3) had led, 14-6, on touchdown runs by Tom O’Mera and Josh Walz. Servite (11-2) tied the game on Reed’s one-yard run and a two-point pass conversion to Stephan Ward.
