In the Magnolia girls’ soccer tournament:

Cypress 2, Villa Park 0--Michelle Woiemberghe and Jodie Specht each scored to help Cypress (3-0) advance to Monday’s championship game against Canyon Springs.

In the Irvine boys’ soccer tournament:

Saddleback 2, San Clemente 0--Goalie Efrain Rodriguez made seven saves and Hugo Licea and Ruben Veliz scored to lead Saddleback (8-1-1) to the championship.

In the Anaheim Classic 12-way wrestling tournament:

Anaheim dominates--Anaheim had 11 champions in 14 weight classes en route to a 9-0 tournament victory. Reuben and Robert Droughns each won all nine of their matches by pinning their opponents at 171 and 189 pounds.

In the El Dorado Holiday Invitational wrestling tournament:

El Dorado wrestler wins heavyweight--Justin Bryant of tournament-host El Dorado was champion in the heavyweight class and teammates T.J. Ash (160 pounds) and Mike Curtis (189) finished fourth and fifth. San Diego Valhalla won the team title with 189 points. Santa Ana finished second.

In the El Toro 10-way wrestling tournament:

Hedrick wins most valuable wrestler--San Clemente’s Mateo Hedrick was honored as the most valuable wrestler of the upper weight divisions with an 8-0 record in the 215-pound weight class. Fountain Valley won the team title (8-0), followed by Laguna Hills (7-1) and Edison (6-1-1).
