ROUNDUP : Crescenta Valley Devours Tournament Patsy, 98-29
Not even a running clock in the third quarter could stop the Crescenta Valley High boys’ basketball team from routing Valley Alternative, 98-29, Tuesday in the first round of the Crescenta Valley tournament.
The Falcons (5-1) used an 18-0 run at the end of the second quarter to take a 58-13 halftime lead.
Greg Adeeb came off the bench to score 18 points and pull down 12 rebounds for the Falcons. Nathan Sinning added 17 points.

Quartz Hill 49, Franklin 48--Brad Hazard scored 16 points and Brian Woodworth added 12 points for Quartz Hill (3-4).
Reseda 55, San Gabriel 41--Mandeep Hayre scored 11 points and Jamaal Washington added nine for Reseda (1-3).
Bellflower 72, Poly 42--Eric Owens scored 14 points for Poly (1-3).
