JUNIOR COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS
In women’s Southern California Regional playoff games:
Ventura 93, Victor Valley 69--Six Pirates scored in double figures in a game marred by 49 fouls, 27 against Victor Valley. Adria Sneed scored 16 points and guard Marina Torres added 15 for the Pirates (32-0).
The top-seeded Pirates advance to the State championship tournament in San Jose.
Chaffey 84, Valley 68--Valery Brady scored 25 points for Valley (26-10) in a third-round game. Amy Tyler scored 20 points for Chaffey (27-8).
