Outlook: Griswold is the class of the county sprinters and advanced to the state meet last spring in the 200 meters. The senior was the county runner-up in the 100 and 200 meters, having run 10.72 wind-aided and 21.58 respectively. Griswold finished third in the Southern Section Division III 200 meters last season. Jones gave up wrestling to help with his track season, where he was sixth in the county 400 a year ago. The Argonauts are annually the class of the Garden Grove League, and Mariola should be able to improve on his career 81-6 dual-meet record. Bruce will be one of the county’s top long jumpers and Ibrahim will try to regain consistency in the distance events.
