Brothers Not Hit in Drive-By Shooting
Two people were shot at but no one was injured in a drive-by shooting late Tuesday in Newbury Park, Ventura County sheriff’s investigators said Wednesday.
Officials said two brothers were returning home about 11 p.m. Tuesday when they noticed a tan, late-model Nissan Altima cruising slowly by the 600 block of Paseo la Perla. The car had turned around in a cul-de-sac and again passed the house when one of the occupants fired several shots at the two brothers, officials said. No one was hit, but the bullets struck the home, investigators said.
