Fountain Valley, Senior
Softball/Pitcher
Fountain Valley began the week one game behind Huntington Beach and tied with Marina, but Camunas, a left-hander who will attend Kentucky next season, helped the Barons beat both teams last week. She allowed no earned runs in a 5-1 victory over Huntington Beach, then-ranked third in the county, and she pitched another complete game in a 2-1 victory over arch-rival Marina. “Both were giant,” Fountain Valley Coach Cary Baker said. “Now we control our own destiny.”
