At the South Coast League boys’ track and field finals:

Dana Hills wins league--Although Mater Dei finished with a meet-high 125 points, Dana Hills still won the league championship, finishing second with 106 points. Dana Hills’ Devin Lindahl won the 800 (1 minute 56.48 seconds), the second-best mark in the county this season.

At the South Coast League girls’ track and field finals:

Mission Viejo wins--Ashley Bethel won the 200 (25.51), 100 hurdles (14.37), high jump (5 feet 4 inches) and long jump (18-1 1/2) for the Diablos, who won the meet with 170 points. Dana Hills was second with 90 points and Trabuco Hills third with 85.

San Clemente freshman Christina Ciampa won the 400 in 58.04, the second-best time in the county this season.

In the Empire League individual golf finals:

Chin and Jung advance--Sammy Chin finished his second day of competition with a three-over-par 75 for a combined score of 149 on Los Serranos. The top two finishers advance to the Southern Section playoffs. Daniel Jung, who tied with Eric Wang at 152, won the second spot after winning the playoff round on the second hole.

In the Golden West League individual finals:

Three advance to Southern Section--Adam Ainbinder, who finished two days of competition with the lowest score of 146 at Green River, was joined by Will Lucinao and Jeff McGraw to advance to the section finals.

In the Pacific Coast League individual finals:

Won wins--Medalist Ron Won of University shot a second-round six-over-par 77 to finish eight-over 150 at Dove Canyon. Laguna Hills’ Tom Osseck defeated Estancia’s Mike Perry in a sudden-death playoff to win the league’s final berth for the section finals.

In the Sea View League individual finals:

Santa Margarita sweeps--Medalist Steve Wagner shot one-under 71 to finish at two-under 142 at San Luis Rey Downs for Santa Margarita, which had the top-four finishers who all qualified for the Southern Section finals.

In the South Coast League individual finals:

Gross wins--Medalist Jason Gross of San Clemente shot a second-round even-par 72 at the SCGA Members Club to finish at one-over 145.

In Golden West League softball:

Rosary 10, Santa Ana 0 (5, mercy)--Jaime Fruth had three hits, three runs scored and one RBI for visiting Rosary (18-8, 6-1).

Westminster 15, Saddleback 0 (5, mercy)--Ashley Maranto (7-2) threw a perfect game in five innings, her second no-hitter of the season for No. 6 Westminster (17-4, 5-0). Kelly Hauxhurst was three for four, including a three-run homer and a double.

In the Sea View League:

El Toro 4, Corona del Mar 0--Freshman Jennifer Morey and Susanne Guy combined on a no-hitter for host El Toro (17-10, 6-1). Morey struck out five in five innings and Guy struck out three in the final two innings.

Irvine 20, Newport Harbor 0 (5, mercy)--Katy Morrison and Debbie Tomoguchi each hit grand slams for host Irvine (19-5-1, 4-2).

Woodbridge 1, Santa Margarita 0--Corey Washington drove in Lizzy Lemire in the fourth inning to give fourth-ranked Woodbridge the victory. Christy Robitaille pitched her second no-hitter this year with six strikeouts for Woodbridge (21-5, 7-0).

In the South Coast League:

Mater Dei 8, Trabuco Hills 0--Brooke Hofsteter pitched her second no-hitter of the season, striking out nine for second-ranked Mater Dei (22-1, 7-0), which clinched a share of the league title. Monarch junior outfielder Shealee Dunavan went three for four with three RBIs and two triples. Trabuco Hills drops to 8-11, 3-4.

In Century League boys’ tennis:

Canyon 12, Foothill 6--Dave Douglas and Robby Saggu swept in doubles, 6-1, 6-0, 6-2, to remain undefeated in league for host Canyon (10-8, 8-2).

El Modena 13, Orange 5--Jeremy Kaye swept in singles for El Modena, 6-0, 6-4, 6-2. In doubles, Pete Feovenyessy and Garrett Omeste swept, 6-3, 6-1, 6-4, for El Modena (9-6, 6-4).

In the Golden West League:

Moore sweeps--Ryan Moore of Servite, who was undefeated in his quarter and semifinal matches, defeated teammate Beau Chung of Servite to advance to the individual finals. Moore beat Chung, 6-0, 6-0. Paul Choi of Ocean View, who beat Brock Heimann, 6-2, 6-1, will meet Moore today.

In doubles, it will be an all-Servite final as the No. 1 doubles team of Ali Sajadian and Ryan Mauban will meet teammates Joe Ganahl and Devin Haverland. Finals start at 2:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Tennis Center.

In the Orange League:

Brea Olinda 24, Savanna 0--No. 8 Brea Olinda (21-1, 9-0) clinched its second consecutive league title. The Wildcats’ final match is Friday against Magnolia.

In the Sunset League:

Los Alamitos 13, Fountain Valley 5--Cody Jackson swept in singles, 6-3, 6-0, 6-0, which clinched the second consecutive league title for the visiting Griffins (14-2, 9-1).
