In other Division II games:

Fountain Valley 17, Arcadia 1--Kevin Burford and Chris Fusillo hit three-run homers to lead Fountain Valley (22-6). Pitcher Kameron Nielsen pitched four innings and extended his scoreless-innings streak to 22.

The Barons will play Encino Crespi.

Moreno Valley Canyon Springs 10, Fullerton 9--Gabriel Almanza’s single scored Greg Johnson to tie the score for Fullerton in the sixth inning. The Indians scored six runs with two outs in the inning.

Johnson had a two-run double and teammate Tyler Brickell hit a two-run single in the sixth. Still, it wasn’t enough as Canyon Springs won on an RBI double.

Mario Ramirez was four for five for Fullerton.

Redondo Beach Redondo Union 9, Servite 6--Servite was leading by two runs going into the bottom of the seventh, but after Redondo Union got as close as one, Lars Ensberg hit a grand slam to end the Friars’ season. Ryan Garko had three RBIs and Ryan Brown had two RBIs for Servite (20-8).

Tustin 7, Temecula Valley 1--Rudy Aguilera hit his fifth homer of the season and had two RBIs for Tustin (18-9). Pepe Vazquez hit a two-run double for the Tillers, who will face Canyon Springs.

In Division I:

Capistrano Valley 5, Camarillo 4 (8)--Winning pitcher Tommy Grotsky hit the game-winning run to advance Capistrano Valley into the quarterfinals. Grotsky’s ground single came in the bottom of the eighth with two outs. Capistrano Valley will play La Puente Bishop Amat.

Mater Dei 12, Santa Fe Springs St. Paul 5--Mater Dei (23-3) hit five home runs, giving the Monarchs 42 this season. Brad Zamora and Pat Manning each were two for three and winning pitcher Mike Kolbach hit two homers and improved to 10-0. Diamond Bar is next for the Monarchs.

In Division V:

Calvary Chapel 7, Phelan Serrano 2--John Tucker pitched a five-hitter for Calvary Chapel (20-5). The Eagles play Bishop Union in the quarterfinals.

In Division VI:

Riverside Woodcrest Christian 8, Liberty Christian 0--Kyle Goodman’s two-run double keyed a five-run first inning for Woodcrest Christian (20-8).

Southern California Christian 9, Redlands Arrowhead Christian 7--Mike DuChene entered in relief after Arrowhead Christian had scored five runs, and held the hosts to two runs over the final six innings. Jeremy Smith, Billy Campbell and David Enda homered for SCC (19-6).
