Tara Brown Quits as El Dorado Coach

Tara Brown resigned as girls’ basketball coach at El Dorado High, girls’ Athletic Director Sally Reclusado announced Wednesday.
Brown, who played at South Florida before graduating in 1985, took over the program last November for Gary Raya, who died of heart failure on Sept. 7, 1995 at age 29.
Brown led El Dorado to a 19-6 record last season and to the quarterfinals of the Southern Section Division II-A playoffs. Reclusado is looking for a replacement.
