Outlook: Expectations are high at Los Alamitos. “This is the best team I’ve had in a long time,” Fleming said. “I’m really excited.” Much of the excitement surrounds the arrival of Meshkinpour. “I haven’t had a freshman like Sanaz, ever,” Fleming said. Fleming has no superstars, but her team should be as deep as any in the county, one through nine. The Griffins should find out in a hurry how deep they are. They open with the county’s top three teams--Corona del Mar, Newport Harbor and Villa Park.
