4 People Injured as Fire Destroys Home
A fire leveled a two-story home early Wednesday, injuring a father, his two sons and a fire captain.
The family awoke to the sound of fire shortly after 2:15 a.m. at the home in the 10300 block of Rainbow Circle.
Terry Fraser, 50, suffered second-degree burns to 20% of his body. He was in fair condition Wednesday at the UCI Burn Center in Orange, a hospital spokeswoman said. His son, Christopher Fraser, 24, was in fair condition at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center with burns. A brother, who was not identified, was treated at Fountain Valley and released.
A fire captain sprained an ankle while fighting the blaze.
Damage was estimated at $500,000.
