* Update: The Dons continue to be the surprise team of the season after a 19-0 victory over Antelope Valley. They rushed for 256 yards and passed for none.

* Update: The Steelers ran 50 times for 394 yards, a 7.8-yard average, in a 49-7 victory over Basic of Henderson, Nev. Basic was held to minus 54 yards rushing and 39 yards passing.

* Update: The Griffins’ offense, which struggled in the first two games, moved into high gear in a 56-12 victory over Western. Quarterback Sean Stein threw four touchdowns passes in the first half.

* Update: After opening the Bay League schedule with a 32-6 victory over Inglewood, the Panthers face their main competition for the league title in Hawthorne.

* Update: The Terriers defeated San Gorgonio, 24-14, as they prepared for the tough part of their schedule.

* Update: A week after an emotional victory over Hart, the Warriors started slowly against Simi Valley. They led, 6-3, at halftime before coming alive in the second half on their way to a 34-11 victory.

* Update: After impressive performances against Sylmar, Fairfax and Dorsey, the Toreadors unexpectedly struggled in a 24-21 victory over El Camino Real. Jamie Mena’s 21-yard field goal in the fourth quarter was the difference.
