Reseda 7, Poly 2--A 33-yard touchdown pass from Michael Martin to Tony De La Torre in the second quarter was enough to lift the Regents (2-3, 1-1) at Reseda.

Poly (0-5, 0-2) scored when Reseda punter Raul Cardona fumbled a low snap and was tackled in the end zone late in the third quarter.

Poly had one final chance midway through the fourth quarter when defensive end Mike Renteria recovered a Gavin Rubin fumble at the Regent 17-yard line. The Parrots were penalized 15 yards for a personal foul on the play, and were unable to move the ball, turning it over to Reseda on downs with six minutes remaining.

Poly was led by Jesse Villarreal, who rushed for 131 yards in 18 carries. The punchless Parrots held Reseda to 146 yards.

Reseda got 59 yards in 13 carries from Jamaal Washington. Richard Jackson added 43 yards in 17 carries for the Regents.
