Blair 22, La Canada 21--Raul Dorantes scored on a one-yard run midway through the fourth quarter and Bobby Bass ran for a two-point conversion as the Vikings (2-6-1, 2-1-1) came from behind for the victory at Pasadena City College.

The Spartans (3-6, 1-3) opened up a 21-0 lead late in the second quarter after quarterback Chris Walker connected with Bruce Lafko on an 11-yard touchdown pass. The pair also opened the scoring with an eight-yard touchdown at 7:57 in the first quarter.

But Blair responded with a touchdown pass from Bass to Gerrick White with two seconds remaining in the first half, and they connected on a 55 yard pass play early in the final quarter to set up the winning score.

La Canada, which saw its playoff hopes disappear, was led by running back Eric Leverton who gained 91 yards in 16 carries and Erik Ovanespour with 65 yards 17 carries, including a five yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Walker completed five of 11 passes for only 27 yards. Lafko caught three passes for 22 yards.
