Kathy Moore, a pitcher at Garden Grove, has made an oral commitment to attend New Mexico.

Moore was 13-4 with a 0.60 earned-run average, and struck out 96 in 105 innings.

Ashley Boone, a first baseman at Woodbridge, has orally committed to play softball at Florida.

Boone, a Times Orange County first-team first baseman last year, batted .349, scored 16 runs and drove in 12 for Woodbridge, helping the Warriors reach the Southern Section Division II final.

Robin Tessman, a first baseman/designated hitter at Foothill, has orally committed to play softball at Long Beach State.

Tessman batted .432, scored 16 runs and had 20 RBIs last year for the Knights, the top-ranked softball team in Orange County and the Southern Section.

Jenny Beltran, Foothill’s third baseman, has orally committed to play softball at Miami (Ohio).

Beltran batted .333 with 14 RBIs last year for the Knights.
