1995-96: 18-6-3, 5-3-2 in the South Coast League; upset top-seeded Claremont in the first round and defeated rival Capistrano Valley in a rainy, overtime, semifinal game, 2-1, to advance to the Southern Section Division I final, where it tied Los Alamitos, 1-1.

Outlook: Stacy Dillard, a first-team All-Southern Section midfielder last season, injured her knee over the summer and is expected to miss most of the regular season. But the Diablos return eight from last season’s talented team. Cochrun was an all-league selection and Erickson returns at stopper for the third year. Terry moves from marking back to sweeper to fill in for Devon Grissom, who graduated.
