Rory Hamilton, a 6-foot-3 junior forward playing in his first varsity game, grabbed 15 rebounds in Thousand Oaks High’s season-opening victory over Beverly Hills, the most rebounds a Lancer has had in three seasons.
Hamilton also had 10 points.
* When University of Arizona sophomore Amy Skieresz won the women’s race and Arkansas junior Ryan Wilson placed eighth in the men’s race at the NCAA cross-country championships in Tucson on Nov. 25, it was the fifth consecutive year in which at least one Agoura High graduate placed among the top 15.
