Pulido, a sophomore forward from Newport Harbor High, has established herself as the main scoring threat for Orange Coast. In four games last week, she had 101 points and 36 rebounds as the Pirates won three of four games. Pulido scored 28 once and 24 twice as the Pirates won two of three games in the Cuesta tournament. Pulido has been the leading scorer in nine of 10 games for Orange Coast.

* Golden West, freshman. She had 49 kills in four matches as Golden West rolled to its fourth consecutive state title. She was the most valuable player of the tournament.
