Heat’s Hardaway Hurts His Back
Associated Press
Miami Heat guard Tim Hardaway strained his lower back in the first quarter Tuesday against Indiana and sat out the rest of the game.
Hardaway was dribbling the ball near midcourt when he pulled up, called timeout and collapsed on his back. Moments later he rose unsteadily to his feet and was helped to the locker room by two trainers.
Hardaway’s status for Thursday’s game against Utah was uncertain.
