This could be a defining moment for the Titans. Playing without leading scorer John Williams, Fullerton needs a victory to step from the pack chasing Pacific. Fullerton relied heavily on its perimeter game and shot 42.9% in a 73-65 loss to Idaho on Thursday. Craig Whitehead, who had sat out two games because of a strained groin, scored two points in 15 minutes. Boise State has won four of five games, but two of those victories came against North Texas and UC Irvine.
