Clark Quits as Westminster Football Coach
Stan Clark announced his resignation Friday after 10 seasons as Westminster High football coach.
Clark said he will continue as the school’s athletic director.
“I think it’s time for me to go in a different direction,” Clark said. “I’ve had a lot of fun; I have no regrets.”
Clark’s career record at Westminster is 40-63-1. Westminster was 3-7 last season, and finished fourth in the Golden West League with a 2-3 record.
Clark and Principal Kathleen Miller plan to meet next week to establish the interview process to find the next head coach. “We want the new person on board as soon as possible,” Clark said.
