SEASON AT A GLANCE: Harper, who has signed a letter of intent with Cal State Northridge, has been among the Valley region scoring leaders since the first week of the season and continues to improve. Since the departure of former teammate David Redmond--who was averaging 19.2 points before being declared academically ineligible two weeks ago--Harper has picked up his game. He is averaging 28.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 3.0 blocked shots a game.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: The 6-foot-4 swingman scored 30 points in each of the Hunters’ victories over Grant and North Hollywood to help Canoga Park clinch the East Valley League title. Harper also grabbed 23 rebounds and blocked eight shots in the two games.
