In other Division II games:
Brea Olinda 2, Villa Park 0--Yvette Mungia and Amanda Manton each scored a goal in the final 15 minutes for host Brea (22-3-2). The Wildcats advanced to play Mission Viejo.
Mater Dei 8, San Bernardino 0--Katie Ticehurst scored three goals in a first-round victory for Mater Dei (16-6). The Monarch will face Riverside Poly.
Santa Margarita 3, El Dorado 1--Brooke Smith and Casey Hamel scored first-half goals for top-seeded Santa Margarita (15-1-3). The Eagles will play Woodbridge in the second round.
In Division I:
Capistrano Valley 5, Cerritos 0--Elizabeth Delgado scored two goals for second-seeded Capistrano Valley. Shawna Draper and Elizabeth Ahern each had one save in a combined shutout for the Cougars (20-2-3). Capistrano Valley plays Edison in the second round.
Edison 1, Long Beach Wilson 0--Heidi Prestegard scored a first-half goal for Edison (14-9-2). Allison Nadler had five saves for the Chargers.
Esperanza 3, University 1--Stacy Jarne, Nicki Rime and Shannon Moore each scored a goal for Esperanza (19-5-3). The Aztecs play Long Beach Poly, a 2-0 winner over El Toro.
Los Alamitos 3, Jurupa Valley 0--Brittany Savelkoul had a goal and an assist and Susan Palmer and Sommer Hammoud each scored a goal for third-seeded Los Alamitos (20-4-2). The Griffins advance to play Temecula Valley in the second round.
In Division III:
El Modena 10, West Valley 1--Jill Peasron and Ashley Clift each scored two goals for fourth-seeded El Modena (16-7-2). El Modena plays Barstow in the second round.
Rosary 2, Lakewood Mayfair 1 (sudden death)--Lesley Fulton scored on a header off an indirect free kick by Carla Hurst four minutes into the 10-minute sudden-death overtime period for Rosary (13-8-2), which advanced to the second round to play Chaminade.
In Division IV:
Laguna Beach 11, Cantwell Sacred Heart 0--Summer Chaldu score three consecutive goals in the first half to lead Laguna Beach (13-9-2). Cantwell Sacred Heart (7-14-4) did not record any shots on goal. Laguna Beach advances to play top-seeded Ontario Christian.
West Covina Western Christian 1, Brethren Christian 0--Nicki Lang scored on a direct penalty kick in the 70th minute for Western Christian (13-4-3). Brethren Christian (14-7) outshot Western Christian 23-5.
